piedmont park loops in the snow with james. i think we ended up with around 4 inches, which isn't much, but then again it is for a city that hardly ever sees snow. the park was FULL of people walking around like they were in a magical snow globe, and there were kiddies sledding everywhere ...some of them weren't even on a hill and others had their landing strips going into busy roads. what we need here is sledding education. i've made fun of atlanta for the past few years about how everyone completely panics about snow when it never actually snows, but this time it delivered and it made me happy. everything looks beautiful and i miss the supercold snowy briskness because i think it's good for you to sometimes just trek around being miserably cold.
