one more 8-miler to finish off the week. i thought a consistent string of easy 8 mile runs would be a good way to bring back the mileage in a gentle fashion without aggravating my leg or sending the rest of my body into shock. i have only been averaging 20-30 mpw since the beginning of november, so going up to 48 was a big step. but my leg still works and i am not dead, so i guess the 8-mile-a-day monotony worked. two more weeks of easy base to get back up to 60 mpw, then it's time to start throwing in some workouts and long runs.
