hotlanta is disappointing me with its 25 degree temps, gusty winds, and icy sidewalks.

Do they also water the concrete in Atlanta?

i guess ATL doesn't see ice very often -- instead of salt, they cover the sidewalks with "caution: wet floor" signs.

NONE of these guys mentioned icy sidewalks in their descriptions of Atlanta

On a serious note….
The south is infamous for its ice storms and freezing rain. Sort of the opposite of what happens in Utah where it can snow over 40 degrees. In the south you get sub freezing temps at the surface but warmer air in the upper atmosphere which means precipitation falls as rain but freezes when it hits the surface.
It's great fun for everyone.

Rich homie quan don't know SQUAT! No he don't. And you're tellin' me he looked you square in the eye and said what? (shaking my head with a disguised Obama smirk on my face.)

Oh, that's wasn't directed towards Mr. Rob Murphy. No it wasn't. To the guy that lied to yer face, that's who!

I thought you would be running in the heat not the ice and cold. Nice run. Keep watching for those icy road signs.
