am - watched james run the redmond half marathon. he ran great, but the winner ran 1:01:01.

one oh one oh one!

he came cruising in at what appeared to be a dead sprint, yet his body was totally relaxed and he wasn't even breathing that hard. the sad part was that no one knew what was happening.

the emcee said: "and here's another 4-mile finisher coming through, oh wait, i think this is our first half marathon guy?! and then a mom in a visor gave him two echoey claps and that was his glory. i did so many double-takes at the finish line clock that my bun fell out.

pm - one green lake loop. getting there.

That is quite fast.

It is amazing to watch those finishes. I've seen a couple 63' finishes. Never a 61'. Good to see the back is on the mend.

your bun fell out. that's serious head-turning. nicely done. and a 61:01 is also fairly impressive... (and not even breathing hard? that's crazy sauce)
