roughly 45 seconds slower than predicted, so basically just embarassing (although not as embarassing as my seed time, which i listed as 19:00 because i thought it was a 5k).

the way i'm feeling right now doesn't feel like a loss or lack of fitness. it's a different feeling, similar to whatever was going on with me in 2014. it's like i just stopped working for no reason at all. like my hp printer.

i do keep wondering if my time is up, and i just have to accept a different kind of running from here on out. it was going so well until it wasn't, and i'm left confused. my body very abruptly said "oh nevermind, i'm not on board with this." but i'm like, WHAT ABOUT MY GOALS. jk i'm a millennial and i have no goals lol

very interesting. printer = my teenagers during summer, millennial goals = funny, allie's body not responding = not cool. keep at it = free advice = we know what that's worth. keep your chin up = the opposite strains neck muscles.

Have you thought about getting a coach? Getting back into serious training, even when you have been running, can be rough. I couldn't seem to do it. Part of it was my job but not all. I tried to bull through and just start doing 18-mile long runs because it seemed like a good number. It might take a lot of patience. The kind that is almost maddeningly slow.

These things take time.

Allie, start a running streak and you'll be golden. Jk. Lol. Hey, maybe it would be good. Look at me, I'm 48 years old and I'm running better and faster than ever before just by running a little over a mile every day. What are you, like 24, 25 years old. Wink.

I'm coming up with a marathon training plan where I'll keep the streak going, but not overdoing it. I hope it works out. However, I always fail to list all the other stuff I do, in addition to running, such as 50 body weight squats every day, walking lunges every other day, core work every other day, among other oddball body movements, just to keep everything in tip top shape. I definitely feel better than I have in my entire life, even better than when I was a dumb teenager. That's saying something right there.

Anyway, I hope you're doing well and I think HP printers are purposely made to not work, even on HP computers. Lol. I've had a problem with every one I've ever had. The bizarre thing is that I continue buying them. Go figure!
