8 miles. slow. sunnyside up loop. i am stressed about work, so it was great to get out this morning and run my frustrations away.

i am staying motivated by thinking of the overtime pay accumulating in my "trip to europe" fund. when that will actually happen, i know not. but it's fun to think about.

After you visit europe you could visit England too!

Overtime....those days are done for me for now.

8 miles sunnyside loop. One of theses days I need to come do this loop with you.

For pleasure or for pain (marathon?)

From RAD on Wed, Nov 03, 2010 at 17:51:26 from 67.172.229.125

It's nice to have things like Europe to keep our minds off of the crap we have to go through today to get there!

I feel like I'm on constant overtime and always on call. Sometimes I'd like to put the dolls away and stop playing house. But then my kids will melt my heart and I'm ready to take it all on again!

From seeaprilrun on Wed, Nov 03, 2010 at 17:54:31 from 68.103.249.204

Running is the best thing ever for frustrations. So..you have any winter racing plans? You seem to be staying in shape and ready for just about anything.

From PRE on Wed, Nov 03, 2010 at 19:21:09 from 99.50.214.225

Slow? Says you.

Sure wish I could run slow like you.

From Lysa on Wed, Nov 03, 2010 at 20:31:29 from 174.52.25.64

Good Job Allie, You deserve that trip to Europe! I would love to hear about a race you ran in Germany, or Sweden, or France! How cool would that be?

From auntieem on Wed, Nov 03, 2010 at 21:50:18 from 98.247.176.184

Yeah, keep that "trip to Europe" fund fillin' up! Join me for the Paris marathon in April if you want.

From Dan on Wed, Nov 03, 2010 at 23:14:21 from 24.209.83.20

Nice as always... I am so with you on the work comments. Cept I am not going to Europe, mines more like paying the house off... planning vacation... Europe would be sweet though!

From tamy on Thu, Nov 04, 2010 at 01:48:07 from 68.5.238.106

Allie, thanks for all the positive messages. Good luck with the fund!

From Nancy on Thu, Nov 04, 2010 at 06:46:57 from 76.27.19.206

A trip to Europe sounds fun. That would keep me motivated to work overtime.

From Rob Murphy on Thu, Nov 04, 2010 at 08:11:38 from 24.10.248.6

Overtime? What's that?

From Rob Murphy on Thu, Nov 04, 2010 at 08:13:07 from 24.10.248.6

Sorry, I'm just cranky after three hours of grading essays last night.

From jun on Thu, Nov 04, 2010 at 10:27:21 from 66.239.250.209

Mmm, Europe. I really need to get back there. I've promised to take my wife. Hopefully in 2012.

chris - i am coming to england, remember? you already paid for the flight. at least you told me you did...

KP - looks like we need to take an OT trip to europe. we can stop and pick up chris along the way. see you soon.

lily - you would love the sunnyside up loop. i run it at least 3 times per week. come anytime!

melody - i was not planning on an international marathon, but it might be fun...

RAD - supermom. :)

april - i am continuing to train as long as i am motivated. at this point i don't know what i am training for, but i have a few ideas floating around. the weather here has been kind for the most part -- nearly 70 degrees in november. that helps a ton. i will be lucky to be posting anything above 6 miles come january. i'm a weather wuss.

PRE - says PRE!

lysa - sweden. now there is an idea...

auntieem - thanks for the suggestion. i'll to look into it.

dan - good luck this weekend!

tamy - thanks for sending the great california weather our way.

nancy - yes, i definitely need the extra motivation this week.

rob - haha. sounds like we are doing the same thing. i love bringing work home with me and working late into the night.

jun - sounds like fun. and in 2012? london might be fun...

From jun on Thu, Nov 04, 2010 at 22:02:51 from 68.171.235.191

London is my 2nd home town. Its my dream to attend the olympics there. Then, off to all of my favorite spots. The only problem will be who do I root for, USA or England?

From nicole on Sat, Nov 06, 2010 at 19:29:44 from 76.22.105.167

Way to go Allie! You are still so amazing. What is your 5k PR? That 9/11 race?
