You're still supposed to be enjoying yourself after Woodlands! Running a marathon is a little like having a baby...ok, nevermind, it's not really.

I've had 2 kids - yeah, I was a bit tired afterwards, but nothing too serious; get out and train:-)

Nice run - I am familiar with being dead during a run.

Bam - me too, I don't know what the big deal is...

my last baby came rolling up to my porch in a wagon. although i attempted it in 2007, i've never actually used a wagon in a marathon, so...

I had my piriformis released at PT the other day and honestly wondered what was worse that or childbirth. I know childbirth lasts way longer, but I am really curious about the actual amount of pain. Can anyone chime in?

From Lily on Thu, Mar 14, 2013 at 10:50:02 from 166.137.210.22

It's bad lulu :) kidney stones are about the same par as calfing out. Ive had both :)

Marathons are exactly like having a baby, except I'm the one crying, pooping and vomiting all over.

From Neasts on Thu, Mar 14, 2013 at 12:24:59 from 75.169.58.228

My ultra last year and my last baby were about equal when it comes to pain and duration (3ish hours), just different types of pain. I had her naturally six minutes after a mad dash to the hospital, and it was the best experience of all the others I had epidurals for.

Now what I wouldn't want is the acute pain of something like kidney stones or getting my ankle sliced open with a piece of glass or cracking an ulna or getting my piriformis released.

Rob, keep it clean. And sane.

I think if your profanity is referring to babies it's OK. Most of my profanity does.
