I was worried about the skiffs of snow...fast or slow? did you have worse than that?

SLC didn't get more than a skiff either, but the skiff is what made it slippery. it coated everything in an ultra thin layer of snow, and the cars turned it all into ice. the most dangerous part: white crosswalk lines. pure ice!

we just need the clouds to produce a solid helping of deep, fluffy snow. no more of this coughing out ice pellets business...

I have learned to avoid the white stripes of the cross walks but once in a while I land half way on one and luckily it is only half my foot because they are definitely slick. Some new crosswalks they put sparkly paint down that is rough...those are nice: D. I hear you on the no snow thing. Why the cold without the snow? I must have chilled myself to the core because I had to lay down and every few minutes change the heating pad to a different spot. My bones were thawing I think!!

You just needed some skis this morning :) Nice job getting out and getting it done!

I'm glad you made it the whole 8 without falling down.

Get another 500 miles on those Kinvaras and then you'll really be sliding around! :-) I realized this morning that my blue pair can't be worn unless its 100% dry anymore.
