8 miles. liberty park. 5-4-3-2-1 min with 1 min jog. effort was moderately hard. i was trying to dial in 10k pace.
i have very little experience with the 10k (my last one was 363 days ago), so i am not too confident about pacing. i am hoping to average between 6:00 - 6:05 per mile, which would mean a sub-38. my super goal is 37:29; regular goal is 37:52; salty bad weather goal is sub-38:24, which would beat my time from last year (which was also in bad weather). i am going to wear four breathe right strips and drink a dozen muscle milks for breakfast.
