8 miles -- 6 miles barefoot. 3 grass loops around sugarhouse park. [when i say grass, i really mean mud/dead pine needles]. i'm trying to sort out the tightness in my right shin and calf, which has been bothering me for a few weeks now. the barefoot running seemed to help.

ahhhh barefoot....but not in pine needles, really? you must be able to rise above those pointy things. I have wicked sensitive feet. Way to go!! hope your calf problem is better.
