12 miles on the JRP on a sunny and only-cold-for-a-few-miles morning. it was a nice group run with james, jake, andrea, adam, rob rohde, devra, and emily (we ate devra and emily's dust).

and that's a wrap for 2011.

Yes it is ... Happy New Year allie!

From Burt on Sat, Dec 31, 2011 at 17:25:10 from

I don't see any races in Arizona for 2012 :-(

From Jake K on Sat, Dec 31, 2011 at 17:39:37 from

Burt - you can convince allie to come run the Mountain to Fountain 15K (we are going to come down for that one, FYI)

Allie if you don't mind passing this along to James, I'm going to pass on his offer for a long run tomorrow... I don't need to hit 150 miles for the week. We'll see you guys on Wednesday - Wednesdays are the new Thursdays!

From allie on Sat, Dec 31, 2011 at 17:40:15 from

where is arizona?

From allie on Sat, Dec 31, 2011 at 17:42:13 from

jake -- you should just tell james directly on his blog. he checks it all the time.

i'll let him know. see you wednesday.

From Burt on Sat, Dec 31, 2011 at 17:42:58 from

allie, I'm gonna smack you. (Smack means kiss.)

Jake - Then you should have come and run the race I ran today (which I will blog about momentarily.) You could have got $5 off the registration price of M2F and you could have run today's race for FREE!

Happy New Year, and thanks for all you do on the blog.

And what a wrap it was! Movin' on to bigger and better, right?

I see the Riverton Half is on your schedule! YEAH, it is an awesome race. If you ever want a tour of the course beforehand, LMK. I am an expert. ;o)

I wonder why St George is not on there yet. I will hold you to that promise when you are 37!

Nice run as usual. You finished out your year way better than I did.

Hello. Happy New Year. I read your year end summary yesterday. I did not know you were a pacer again in October, 2011. So I read that report. In that report, you mentioned being engaged to James. Are you engaged to James? I am a little behind on some news. Congratulations on the engagement. Hope the new year brings many PRs for you.
