james ran 17:52 and lapped me on lap 11. this is identical to last year except for james ran 1 second faster today. it was also freezing (low 30s).

I have a track 5k coming up too! For some reason, itís making me a bit nervous... did you just try to even split every lap?

rob -- thanks, same to you. hope you had a nice holiday and kept your christmas run streak alive!

mike -- i take splits every 200m. i was going for 45 and 90 sec per lap, but that fell apart very quickly. :) even so, i really like the feedback. i find it to be a bit more nerve-wracking and tedious than just running a regular road 5k, but it's one of my favorite ways to test my fitness (and at this point seems to be the only workout i can get myself to do)
