Nice run. Did you run the 10 miles all alone? I used to run alone when I was younger. Right when I got the kids off for school I would run.

yes, this was a solo run. james is still partying in warm(er) seattle. while i definitely enjoy having a running buddy or two or three, it's nice to run alone sometimes, mostly because i can run as slowly as i want and not feel like i'm dragging anyone down. i definitely took advantage of that today. :)

In those years between college and this year, I've pretty much been a loner runner. Having spent so much time running with great friends this year, I don't know how I ever did without. Still, those occasional solo runs are wonderful for the reasons you mentioned and also just letting the brain strrreeeettttch out a bit.

You've been putting in quite the miles! Sounds like someone found her MoJo!

ahhh yes, i love a good brain stretching session. i also like to sing because it attracts birds.

amiee -- i purchased a bunch of mojo in seattle. wink.

107.4 miles to 3000 for the year. Go! Now! You can order a pizza while you are running.

From allie on Sun, Dec 29, 2013 at 23:11:31 from

if i do it, am i allowed to stake out? and will you and andrea come yell motivating things at me from your van? and will you throw taffy at my ankles?

if i hadn't spent half of november under a blanket, i might have hit 3000. whoops. my goal is 2912.6, because those numbers add up to 20, and THOSE numbers add up to 2.

You are allowed to stake out but there stake will have a leash that you will be tethered to. You'll get a 218 foot radius (Garmin accuracy).

You are also allowed to STEAK out, up to 48 ounces of meat.

The easiest solution would just be to go back and add 85 miles to some random day last February. No one will know.
