Were you running in Logan? What was the temp? How did you feel?

2 weeks 'til school -- yikes!!!

From allie on Mon, Aug 10, 2009 at 13:06:08 from

teena - lol. i was in a hurry so i didn't elaborate much. yes, running in logan, about 48 degrees.. which is really not bad, just not used to it, and my hands are super-sensitive to the cold...i wear gloves 9 months out of the year :) i felt good. great at the end. a little nag in the leg just at the beginning, but it went away within 2 minutes of running. hoping that's the end of it.

oh, and i can't believe it's only 2 weeks until school...double yikes!!!!!!!!!!

From RAD on Mon, Aug 10, 2009 at 13:09:46 from

Glad the run was good. Sometimes I really enjoy the 'freedom' run, just you and the road. Nothing to worry about. I was cold this morning as well, but I'm pretty sure it was warmer than 48. I had long sleeves and I ended up pulling my headband over my ears! Good luck with school, it will be worth it!

RAD - thanks. i was in park city yesterday and it was just downright COLD. weird weather :)

I wish I had some chili too. And some hot dogs.

(I'm stalking you Sam.)

From Jason McK on Mon, Aug 10, 2009 at 19:01:10 from

Is the temple loop one of the regulars in Logan, or just a regular from your place?

From allie on Mon, Aug 10, 2009 at 19:19:10 from

sam - gizmo woman - LOL.

burt - ?

jason - not a regular, i just decided to name it that because i don't have a better name. other options considered were wal-mart loop, cache valley specialty hospital loop, foothill chevron loop, or just plain old logan loop. i will get the names sorted out when i get more routes down.

A question mark. Love it! Just read the last six words of your post and reference coyote joke. (Now I'll get a question mark from everyone else.)

From allie on Mon, Aug 10, 2009 at 19:52:01 from

burt - hahaha. sorry, you didn't deserve a question mark. i am just not clever enough. now, use an oriental accent and decipher between korea and career.

PS - this references back to your old lady driver post. that was not intended to be offensive.

Allie, I read your post earlier. You really have to give yourself some time to recover especially since you did really well on that course. I never have done well and it always takes me at least a month before I am myself again.
