How many protein bars should I eat tonight? Usually I know you recommend one case, but since we're doing 2 races... we probably have to triple that, right? Andrea unwrapped 30 for me just to be safe. Just let me know.

20 before the race, 7 during, 3 after. that's what i've done in the past and it seems to work well, especially on the uphills.
also remember you'll have the egg nog/licorice supplement at mile one. i told james to just mix it together for you in a smoothie. it will be about 5,000 calories. on second thought you may want to have andrea unwrap 5 more.
