8 miles. sunnyside up/sugarhouse construction adventures. this included a good five minute break at a non-functioning traffic light that was being treated as a four-way stop. i finally grabbed an orange crosswalk flag and just went for it -- i don't think i would have ever made it through otherwise. that was my first time ever using the slc flag system.

perfect weather out!

Hooray for making it through without any crash-ups! Training question for seem to do an average of 8 miles/day? Is this part of a training program or just maintaining?

Orange flag, ha ha ha. I wished I had one today on my run. Nice work obeying the SLC laws:)

Awesome! Are you a jog stopper or do you stop completely? I love it when people jog in place at stop lights.

From allie on Thu, Oct 13, 2011 at 12:01:26 from

i stop. always. the reason: i once fell off a curb while jogging in place and made a total fool of myself. never again! now i just put my hands on my hips, blow bubbles with my gum, wink, smile and wave, and act as casual as possible.
