I just finished 3 loops around Sugarhouse. Did we see each other?

From Adam RW on Fri, Oct 08, 2010 at 08:40:12 from

Can we say Chicago and a new WR? I sure hope so...

From Burt on Fri, Oct 08, 2010 at 12:56:01 from

best of luck to everyone who has a birthday tomorrow. I'm looking forward to seeing some exciting results from that, too. I'll be camping so I won't be able to wish anyone a happy birthday properly.

From nevels on Fri, Oct 08, 2010 at 12:58:29 from

do i detect a subtle hint?

From Burt on Fri, Oct 08, 2010 at 13:00:13 from

Yes. I am the master of subtlety.

From nevels on Fri, Oct 08, 2010 at 13:03:39 from

well... whomever it is that might possibly have a birthday tomorrow should definitely run her/his age in miles...

(not that i would ever do anything silly like that...)

From RivertonPaul on Fri, Oct 08, 2010 at 16:58:09 from

Allie, if you get a chance, can you post a link at where to get the supped up Crocs? Thanks.

From Smooth on Fri, Oct 08, 2010 at 17:01:35 from

BEST of LUCK tomorrow! Can't wait to see you slamp down that 5K, go CHAMP!!! :)

From Kelli on Fri, Oct 08, 2010 at 18:41:18 from

I love to come visit your blog just to see that awesome picture. Seriously makes me HAPPY! Never change it!

From DonGardinero on Fri, Oct 08, 2010 at 19:56:38 from

Make sure to post a pic of your first place award. A little wishful thinking. Good luck tomorrow

rob - if you saw a runner sleeping on her feet and wearing really squeaky rubber shoes, that was me. i was in the park for a bit, then went into the neighborhoods, then back to the park. i didn't see anyone the whole time, but it would have been fun to see you. i'll be on the lookout next time.

adam - a new WR would be awesome. it could happen...

i am also excited to see what michelleL is going to do in hartford. a great weekend of racing coming up.

burt and nevels - no, it's not my birthday. which is a good thing. there is no way i would be able to manage 37 miles tomorrow. yuck.

RP - i assume you are referring to the inserts and the turbo straps? here you go:

the turbo straps are discontinued, i think. but you can still get them:

smooth - thanks. just so you know, you made my day when i read andy's blog and saw that you used the word "peeps" :)

kelli - haha. the clashing colors don't hurt your eyes? it's all about the latex gloves lady. makes me laugh every time.

From allie on Fri, Oct 08, 2010 at 20:15:16 from

dongardinero - thanks for the luck. can i buy some of that speedwork from you? thanks.

From Merri on Fri, Oct 08, 2010 at 20:19:44 from

so this croc biznez was for real. i though it was a joke this whole time. :) see how slow I am? :)

From Nancy on Fri, Oct 08, 2010 at 21:22:50 from

I can remember when I used to think 8 miles was easy. Now 3 miles very slow is hard. Great job.

From melanieb on Sat, Oct 09, 2010 at 14:14:01 from

Good Luck my friend! Be Speedy!

From DonGardinero on Sat, Oct 09, 2010 at 14:41:45 from

Alli, how did you do? I went over and checked out the marathon finish. The spectators were really quiet. I tried encouraging people to cheer and clap but they wouldn't go for it. LOL.

From Bec on Sat, Oct 09, 2010 at 14:58:40 from

Hope your race went fantastic. What a great way to treat yourself on your B-day. Weather is ideal for a running today.

From Kelli on Sat, Oct 09, 2010 at 17:18:09 from

The smile is all I SEE, but now I will, of course, notice the latex gloves lady.

Hope the race went well.
