joined up with jon's work club run this morning. ran from mile 3 to 17 on the TOU course with jon and cody. a bit chilly, but overall great weather and another nice tailwind. hip held up just fine, and we kept the pace rather easy, although i felt a bit more winded than usual. we ended up being short by .2 miles, but i followed cody in his obsession to get the 14. 13.84 is lame, jon. :)

Nice final long run! Can you request that tail wind next week too? It was SO nice in the half!! Maybe I'll wear a wing suit and be able to keep up with you for a while :) Glad you rounded out that 13.84 - it's just too complicated for blogging purposes :) See you soon!!!!!

YAY! NICE final taper run! Thanks for rounding out the mile. It would drive me nuts!

GOOD LUCK with all the papers...sorry about the laptop and time spent in the library.

I'm so excited for your TOU. YOU're gonna ROCK!!!!

Seconds on the tailwind!

Allie, what are you looking to shoot for? Are you feeling up to another win possibly?

Who you calling lame? You wouldn't have known you were short if it wasn't for Cody's GPS!

I just finished reading all your blogs for Sept. Wow I can't believe how busy you are and yet you make time for running. Either you are crazy or you love running. I've been told many times that runners are crazy. Good Luck with the hip and the computer.

Allie -

Glad the hip didn't give you any real trouble.

I am already excited for your TOU race report. I take it that you will not be ingesting any gu! :)

Rest up this week.

You are going to be amazing (as usual). :)
