ten and a half.

so...no wildcat half marathon this weekend. i can't justify the $55 entry + gas for a training run, and i think it has the potential to hurt more than help at this point. i have a JRP run planned that will allow me to structure the run how i usually do it, and compare like with like.

it appears TOU is going to be very, very competitive this year on the women's side. cynthia fowler, janae richardson, and stefanie talley should all be there (and who knows, probably others!) this should really help push me to my absolute limits, and i'm hoping the deep field translates to faster times for everyone. i'm really looking forward to it.

Good motivation going into the Marathon! You will do great and I am excited to hear all about it! Running with those girls at the TOU will help so much.

Too bad Camille shattered her foot and won't be joining you ladies as well. It should be a good field and a real competitive race - last year was basically a race against the clock for you.

Seems like there will be a handful of former BYU 28-something 10K guys in the field. Bring it on...

Run your own race, allie, and you'll be fine. Can't wait to see how you go...

It will be a real competitive field. I may have to drive up and cheer everyone on. Are you still planning a 22 miler this weekend? Me and Kam are still planning on a run your welcome to join.

I kinda wish I was in shape so I could run TOU. It's one of my favorites.

NICE runs and mileage this week. Sounds like you have a good plan for Sat. Your preparation and training are solid. Very exciting for you to have a great field of competitive talents to run with at TOU this year! :) :) :)

You can always use the strategy of the "Dictator" and carry a gun during the run. If you see them passing you, shoot them.

Just an idea...
