Good race on Saturday! I bet without that 14 miler on Thursday, you would've had those extra seconds from last year...but for the marathon, that medium-long run is much more important! Your training is looking good for TOU.

andrea - thanks. james and i were talking about that in the middle of the 14-miler -- "we're sabotaging our 5k on saturday." but i agree that the 14 miler is definitely more important. the 5ks are not the goal -- they are a means to an end. i'm just hoping it ends well :) great pics from the weekend. guns?! i'm sorry to hear about the lingering pain and i really hope things start turning around for you this week. get those mini golf clubs ready...
