paul - yes, i am going to attempt the double. it's the only way i still have a chance in the circuit. i am assuming you have done it before...brutal? possibly a bad idea?

That alta peruvian race is sweet, but man will you be sore afterward. You could pick up some sweet points doing both, but you may not be able to walk for a week.

No, this is the first year it's been on the same day. Usually the Peruvian is one week before the TOU Marathon...and I'm still sore for the marathon. Doubling is a grand idea, both terrible and wonderful at the same time. Just keep a lot of ice on hand for afterward.

And be really careful with your injury... I would say be willing to scratch Alta if you hurt after TOU 1/2.
