one more day on the bike. i am being a wuss about this recovery, but the lack of recovery between salt lake and ogden very much contributed to my downfall. i can't afford to lose training while nursing an injury, so i will not start running again until i feel fully ready. there really isn't any soreness left, i guess i am just being a bum for a few days.

back at it tomorrow.

What they said. Feel free to be a bum without any guilt.

I would always bum around for at least a week. Pool running is heavenly in the summer, but no intervals in the pool. Nice new picture. I want to see you in bummies next time, though. Two marathon wins = elite bummy time :)

paul, eric, and maurine: thanks. you have lessened my "bumming around" guilt a bit...but still, i should probably get moving pretty soon :)

michelle: hahaha. NO bummies for me, EVER. i am terrified of those things. and i would terrify everyone else if i debuted them at a race. great suggestion about the pool running.i have never done it before but i guess now would be the best time to try it out.

and the sole purpose of the new pic is to prove that i am not bald ;)
