last monday marked the beginning of my final two summer courses. 4 weeks. M-F. all day. fun! to make things a little more interesting i randomly picked up two more days at work (plus saturdays). so now i am commuting to SLC 3 x per week instead of 1. school all day, work and commute all night. really fun!

so this week i am revising my running strategy a bit to ensure i get some quality miles in on the tighter schedule. shorter runs, better quality. 3 weeks to go...

Super smart, Allie. There is nothing wrong with lower miles. Come hang out in the 40-50 range with me :)

What are you studying and where do you work? Totally random questions I know. I'm just curious.

4 weeks. 4 shweeks.

you can do it.

melody - i am finishing up coursework for my MBA and i work at the art institute of SLC (in draper). it's a creative/applied arts college. i'm an adjunct instructor in the culinary arts program and teach nutrition classes (which was my undergrad). it's really fun...i just don't enjoy the commuting so much.

3 weeks! Its the FINAL COUNTDOWN.

From Burt on Mon, May 24, 2010 at 11:23:27 from

"Shorter runs. Better quality." Sounds like an infomercial.

Nan - thanks for putting that song in my head. No really. Thanks. I love it. "We're leaving together..."

From allie on Mon, May 24, 2010 at 11:32:18 from

that's funny because i was thinking more along the lines of peter schilling:

"4 3 2 1 earth below us spinning falling floating weightless calling calling home."

except it only says "the countdown starts" so i guess i lose.

who likes 80's music anyway?

From Nevels on Mon, May 24, 2010 at 11:36:43 from

only two good things came out of the 80's: Alf and me.

From allie on Mon, May 24, 2010 at 11:38:42 from

well said, nevels. i concur.

From Burt on Mon, May 24, 2010 at 13:19:00 from

Only two good things have come out of Europe. Europe and America.
