super long but super fun day at the ogden marathon. i was originally supposed to help at an aid station but they needed help monitoring traffic in the canyon so i did that instead. they even gave me a bright orange vest and flag. i was referred to as "the crossing guard" on more than one occasion.

it actually ended up working out great because i had a front row seat at mile 21. there wasn't a lot for me to do in terms of controlling traffic since the canyon was closed, so i spent the majority of my time watching the race and cheering on the runners. i was very much inspired by the performances yesterday, especially the fast women's race including the awesome sub-3 finish by amber. congrats to everyone that ran.

Hey thanks for the congrats. I think I saw you holding that sign for smooth. If I had known, I would have given a shout out! Thanks for being one of those who inspire.

Thanks for the cheer at mile 21, sorry I didn't respond...I was focused on the pain! Thanks for volunteering and welcome back to training!
