felt pretty good. i was running ~5 seconds behind the 1st woman the entire race. finally started making up ground with around 0.2 to go. i got right on her heels as we entered the finish stretch and we got a "go girls" cheer from someone, which fired up her kick. i was already on my last gear and couldn't hang on. finished 2-3 seconds behind and got mrs. silver.

my lol goal was sub-19 and my more reasonable goal was sub-19:20, so i was right where i expected to be.

lots of racing opportunities coming up (including on the track), so i really want to get back into good shape now. want is different than will, but i'll work on it.

interesting that you left out mrs bronze.

Seriously nice work in the race, doubly so since you know you want to improve the shape your in.
