Ah man, Allie. I'll keep my fingers crossed, too. I have a pain in my right foot under my calf. Hope it goes away.

A little worried for you as a friend of mine had what she thought were shinsplints and ended up with stress fractures. The difference between the two? She could not possibly run due to pain. SO I am hopeful since you said you COULD run, right? I think you should take two days off and then run an easy two miler the day before your big race. Keep us posted. Try some visualization and stress reduction techniques too. You have been running tons...get in some quality sleep as well.

I think you will be fine, do the ice and massage really aggressive. You always get strange things right before marathons. I hope every thing turns out good and the race runs as plans:)

Take it easy girl. Good luck on the race day. I'm excited to see how things will go for you. REST! REST! REST!
