41 degrees. oh my! it was great. i dressed like it was spring and enjoyed splashing through the friendly puddles that were once mean patches of ice. although this weather will be short-lived, it's nice to have the occasional "teaser" day. now i know that the world will not be stuck in deep freeze until the end of time. last week i wasn't so sure.

It feels so warm out compared to a couple weeks ago. Wish I was able to take advantage

The weather was amazing this morning! Nice run!!

It was great wasn't it? I started getting nostalgic for Washington where I used to live. I can hang with the grey just as long as the thermostat stays up.

From emruns on Mon, Jan 17, 2011 at 12:13:13 from

I feel the same way. A nice day is hope that someday winter will finally be over!

From RAD on Mon, Jan 17, 2011 at 14:50:38 from

Oh, I loved it! I hate the tease though...knowing it's going to be dreadfully cold again. Beautiful miles for a wonderful Monday.

From Smooth on Mon, Jan 17, 2011 at 18:02:18 from

Gotta take advantage of the teaser while you can!!! NICE run!!! happy day!!!

I'm going to beat your plank tonight!

From PRE on Mon, Jan 17, 2011 at 19:17:09 from

Glad to see you had great weather for the run today. We have yet more snow, ice and rain coming to CT.

It looks like you have a new favorite activity in addition to running: PLANKING! You are getting to the point where you are going long with those also.

From april27 on Mon, Jan 17, 2011 at 19:20:26 from

Wow your planks are wicked--does your lower back hurt? Maybe I"m doing something wrong?

Yeah 40 degrees. I have to say I"m jealous!

From seeaprilrun on Mon, Jan 17, 2011 at 19:46:51 from

41 degrees! My IDEAL running temps--just right for shorts and short sleeves!

From DonGardinero on Mon, Jan 17, 2011 at 21:09:34 from

Ok, I take back what I said about being you at the plank tonight. After three attemps, I didn't even come close. lol

From Merri on Mon, Jan 17, 2011 at 22:20:35 from

I loved the warmer temperatures today too!

From Scott Wesemann on Mon, Jan 17, 2011 at 22:33:55 from

I agree 100% about the weather. That is an awesome plank time.

From Kelli on Mon, Jan 17, 2011 at 23:03:48 from

Still cranking up the planks and wall sits I see. AMAZING. Do you feel like your core is working the entire time, or does it start to move more to your legs and shoulders as the time goes on. I have a wimpy core and was just being held up by the rest of my body.

I knew you would be half dressed out there! I was still in pants, a long sleeved shirt and a jacket in case it rained. I was SO HOT, I wanted to peel everything off.

From auntieem on Tue, Jan 18, 2011 at 12:47:05 from

Allie! Gosh darn it; I just finished my 2:30 plank, with 2:00 sides, and saw your post. Oh well, tomorrow!

April: tuck that tailbone!

Great job with the running and planks.
