AM 1: 10 miles. JA(J)A run. the second "j" is silent because james couldn't make it this morning. we ran a fun route today, hitting several sections of my old tempo run loop that i used to run all the time in 2010. there are some good downhill cruising sections coming down off the bench into sugarhouse, and it was nice to get the pace going a bit faster this morning. 

AM 2: went to the fieldhouse with james for some weight lifting and core work. leg weights, roman chair, one-legged bridging, symbiotic single leg squats, fire hydrant, plank. 

AM 3: celery and peanut butter.

Good run - I've been wondering -- does the 'j' in JAJA sound like an 'h' (like you'd say in spanish) or is it an english 'j' like in "jump?"

a lot of people tell me it's weird, but i'm telling you -- celery + nut butter is the best breakfast ever.

joe - i pronounce it in english -- "jaja" with the j's pronounced j as in joe. of coure, james is the true englishman here, and he pronounces it "yaya" with the y's pronounced y as in ya. and andrea pronounces it with an "x" sound, so i really don't know anymore...

i chew celery/peanut butter flavored gum when i want to satisfy the craving without the calories. yesterday it was all about the calories though. i ate breakfast twice.
