8 miles. dilworth loop. i decided to forgo the sunnyside route to see if i could find some life in my legs. i felt better today, but it was still difficult to get it going. the cold and the 50 extra pounds of clothing don't seem to be helping. ah well, it will be warm again in march april may june.

Pretty nice mileage so far this week.

50 lbs huh? That seems like a great training strategy. Just think, in June, when you take off that 50 lbs how fast you will be. I did the same thing last year but mine was fat, and much harder to just take off.

You missed it huh?

Way to get out there and find some life!

I find it hard to relax my body in the cold, which I think affects my pace and makes it hard to "get going".

Dilworth? Yalecrest? These are new.

Glad you didn't buckle under the weight. I would have for sure been crawling with an extra 50 lbs.

Something about busting out the cold weather gear.. arrghh. I put my added weight at about 50 lbs too. RockNrolla.

Gotta love the Dilweed route. A good bowl O' chili should warm you up before your run.

From RAD on Fri, Nov 12, 2010 at 12:05:49 from

Nice run Allie! I love to see the new routes :) Running with an extra 50 pounds will be just like running pregnant...well, almost :)

Come out here (I'm visiting my sister - QP) it's PERFECT running weather!
